We are picking up momentum now that hunting season has ended and looking forward to focusing more directly on our dogs in the next six months. A key focus area for Highveld will be to bring more fun into the time we spend outdoors with our dogs and create a more family-friendly environment.

Spring has arrived in the Highveld, and as is life, our hunting season is coming to an end. Speaking to various members, some had a superb wing shooting season due to good rains the last couple of seasons; other members were fortunate enough to go big game hunting.

As you are aware from previous communications, our KUSA affiliation was successful, and we now have representation at the KUSA Field Trial Liaison Counsel (FTLC). This means that we can finally plan and coordinate KUSA events – we are very excited and thankful for your continued support.

We have the pleasure of advising that our Club’s application for affiliation to KUSA was approved by the Executive Committee of the Federal Council of KUSA at its meeting held on 23 March 2021.
