Dear Members,
We have the pleasure of advising that our Club’s application for affiliation to KUSA was approved by the Executive Committee of the Federal Council of KUSA at its meeting held on 23 March 2021. Our Club has been added to KUSA’s list of Affiliated Clubs as a Field Trial Club in the District of Gauteng & Surrounds administrative area.
The Office Bearers elected are:
• Chairman- Dicky Meij,
• Vice-Chairman – Oscar Neumeyer,
• Secretary – Petro Byleveld and
• Treasurer – Francois Van Der Walt.
TESTING
At present, we do not have plans to host any tests during the remainder of 2021. Our official KUSA affiliated test dates for 2022 will be put forward to the Field Trial Liaison Council during July 2021 for consideration and KUSA approval. We will send out a notice once we have our official dates. Stay tuned for this exciting new adventure.
TRAINING
We strive to hold official training sessions once a month, focusing on all aspects of the hunting tests. Our next training session will be presented on Saturday, 15 May 2021, at a venue close to Vanderbijlpark. To accommodate more dogs and handlers, we will have two sessions. A morning and an afternoon session. These training sessions will focus on fieldwork. More information will be advised shortly.
